Our Two Pillars

PBWA’s strategy is built on two interconnected pillars — Local Growth and Global Connection — ensuring that we build strong foundations here in Western Australia while creating global pathways for opportunity, business and belonging.

Pillar 1: Strengthening the Local Business and Professional Community

Overview: Western Australia is home to a vibrant Polish community – from established business owners and professionals to new graduates and entrepreneurs. PBWA strengthens this local ecosystem by:

  • Hosting networking and professional development events.
  • Building a business and professional directory to promote Polish-owned and affiliated enterprises.
  • Facilitating mentoring and collaboration between experienced professionals, businesses and up-and-coming or newly migrating professionals and graduates.
  • Add unique list items while keeping a consistent phrasing style and similar line lengths
  • Supporting career development and employment pathways.
  • Connecting local employers with new Polish migrants settling in WA.

Pillar 2: Expanding Connections with the International Polish Community and Newcomers

Overview: PBWA extends its network globally – linking with Poland, the UK, Ireland and other regions to attract talent, partnerships and collaboration opportunities, while also supporting newcomers to Western Australia.

  • Promoting Western Australia as a destination for skilled migration and business investment.
  • Partnering with Polish stakeholders, organisations, trade offices and vocational institutions abroad.
  • Hosting webinars and digital sessions to share migration, workforce and visa information and business insights.
  • Offering pre-arrival support and early community connection for newcomers.
  • Providing guidance and integration support to newly arrived Polish professionals and families to help them settle into WA’s community and workforce.
